Creation uses a periodic table to communicate the extent of which elements come from stars at various stages of their life cycles.
Some of the elements highlighted have come from the cores of stars where they are produced by nuclear fusion. Others have been created when a supergiant star runs out of fuel and undergoes a supernova explosion. The heaviest elements highlighted are created when two neutron stars collide to become a black hole (known as a kilonova).
Creation examines the world around us and traces back the elements to their origins in one of these processes billions of years ago from thousands of light-years away. Establishing a connection between us, our surroundings and other people with the cosmos.
