At 8.17pm on 20 July 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the Moon as part of NASA’s Apollo 11 lunar mission. To the Moon and Back is a group exhibition that commemorates the 50th anniversary of this first moon landing. It brings together artists working in a variety of media.

Using the title of the exhibition as their starting point, the showcased works examine and comment on humanity’s desire to explore outer space. The works expand on ideas surrounding; the multiverse, energy, matter, gravity and the moon and outer space as a site for misrepresentation and mistrust.
